MyMaintenance is a home maintenance marketplace built for homeowners in the Wrexham and Chester area. We connect you with vetted local tradespeople, handle the scheduling and payments, and store a permanent record of every piece of work done on your home — your Home Passport.

Think of us as your property's dedicated support team: one place to find the right tradesperson, get the job done properly, and keep a record that adds real value when you come to sell.

Who is MyMaintenance for?

We're built for homeowners across Wrexham, Chester, and the surrounding LL and CH postcodes who want a reliable, hassle-free way to manage home maintenance — without cold-calling trades or chasing quotes.

Whether you own a family home, a period property, or a new build, MyMaintenance helps you stay on top of maintenance, find trusted trades fast, and build a complete property record over time.

Is MyMaintenance free to join as a homeowner?

Yes — joining and posting jobs is completelyfree. You only pay when a job is completed: the price you see before youapprove a booking is the full price, with our small service fee already added —no surprises afterwards. There are no hidden charges and no subscriptionrequired to get started.

I'm a founding member — what does that mean?
Founding members are the first homeowners to join MyMaintenance before our platform fully launches in Autumn 2026. As a founding member you'll receive:

How it works

How do I get a job done through MyMaintenance?

It's straightforward:

Tell us what you need — describe the job, attach photos if helpful, and let us know your preferred timing.

Receive quotes — we match your job to suitable vetted tradespeople, who submit their quotes through the platform.

Choose and confirm — you pick the quote you're happy with, approve it, and the job is booked.

Job done, record kept — once the work is complete and you're satisfied, payment is released and the job is automatically added to your Home Passport.

How quickly will I receive quotes?

For most standard jobs, you can expect quotes within 24–48 hours of submitting your request. For urgent or emergency work, contact us directly and we'll do our best to fast-track a response.

During our pre-launch phase, the team manages requests personally, so response times may be slightly longer — but you'll always hear back from us.

What types of work can I request?

We cover a wide range of home maintenance and repair needs, including:

  • Plumbing and heating
  • Electrical work
  • Carpentry and joinery
  • Decorating (interior and exterior)
  • Garden maintenance and landscaping
  • General property repairs and handyperson jobs

Not sure if your job qualifies? Just ask — if we can't help directly, we'll point you in the right direction.

What happens if I'm not happy with the work?

Your payment is held securely and only released once you confirm you're satisfied with the completed work. If there's a problem, you raise it through the platform before approving payment, and our team steps in to help resolve it.

All tradespeople on MyMaintenance are vetted and reviewed, and repeat issues affect their standing on the platform. Your satisfaction is protected at every step.
